Nutri-Life 4/20™ is used to re-populate your soil (or foliage) with beneficial, growth promoting microbes. Applications of Nutri-Life 4/20™ have been shown to increase nitrogen and phosphorous availability. Increased microbial populations resulting from these applications contribute to rapid humus production, and significantly improve plant nutrient uptake.
Nutri-Life 4/20™ is also a powerful tool for disease suppression. It contains four species of fungi, including Trichoderma, which is well-recognized as for its role as a predatory fungus that protects plant roots. By inoculating and encouraging the dominance of benefical microbes, you can create a hostile environment for pathogens.
Nutri-Life 4/20™ is our most popular microbial inoculum due its exceptional performance. This broad-spectrum blend has proven to be a remarkably cost-effective alternative for those seeking to reduce chemical inputs. Nutri-Life 4/20 contains Azotobacter vinelandii, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus subtilis, Bradyrhizobium japonicum, Chaetomium globosum, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas stutzeri, Rhizobium leguminosarum, Streptomyces albidoflavus, Streptomyces cellulosae & Trichoderma lignorum
Nutri-Life 4/20™ can be used for foliar, soil and hydroponic applications. In intensive horticultural operations, application is more frequent than for applications with field crops
Mix 50 g of Nutri-Life 4/20™ with 100 L of water along with a microbe food source, such as Liquid Microbe Food (LMF)™. Brew with aeration for 18 - 24 hrs* at 20-25º C. When brewed using Dominate-B™, it can remain stable for up to two (2) weeks without aeration. Using Dominate-F™ (fungi), a fungal dominated brew can be achieved. Close monitoring is required for fungal dominated brews as they should not continue for an extended time after heavy frothing commences.
Apply at a rate of 20-40 L/acre depending on crop type and intended frequency of application. Nutri-Life 4/20™ can be added to certain liquid starters at planting, as well as through fertigation. In vegetable production, it should be applied at planting and is recommended to be applied every 2-3 weeks at 20 L/acre. For hydroponic applications, apply 20 L per 1000 L of nutrient solution regularly.
The products we offer are designed to be used together as part of a full-year nutritional program. For more information on use, application rates and timing for specific crops contact Agriculture Solutions today.
